It all started with a simple goal: making a really decent cup of tea.

Whether it was herbal tea to quiet our ADHD brains and actually drift off to sleep, or a rich, large-leaf black tea to savour every morning, we wanted something that delivered, and delivered deliciously.

When we started blending for ourselves, we discovered that flavour this deep doesn't come from small tea bags with ground up floor-sweepings. We wanted to bring the full experience of premium loose leaf tea to the convenience of tea bags.

After years of handing our oversized, handmade tea bags filled with lovely real tea to friends (and years of “Wait… why can’t we buy this anywhere?”), we realised they had a point..

The Quest for Better Bags

When we approached manufacturers with our radical "more tea, bigger bags" concept, the responses genuinely consisted of:

"It's not possible.”

“You can’t deviate from the standard teabag size, no one does.”

"For the fifth time, no, please stop calling this number."

"Due to my parents' divorce at a young age, I'm now acutely afraid of change."

But like a perfectly steeped cup, good things take time. We eventually found innovative partners willing to share our vision and we created roomy, plant-based tea bags that could actually handle our generous portions. Each one holds over three grams of whole-leaf tea or large-cut herbs, nearly double the industry standard. Because a proper tea deserves proper space.

We believe in more tea

More flavour, more quality, more impact. In our teas, it's whole rolled leaves for a rich, authentic taste. In our herbals, it's large-cut botanicals designed to preserve their natural effects.

Better Bags, Better Planet

Our oversized bags are plant-based and fully biodegradable, no sneaky plastics here. Even our packaging pouches are recyclable, because good tea shouldn't cost the earth.

For teas like our Colombian Breakfast, we stick to single origins, ensuring consistent flavour without unnecessary air miles.

Quality starts at the source, which is why we work directly with growers for fair pay and create each batch with care. We're small, independent and driven by a belief that better ingredients, and a commitment to people and planet can change the way tea is made, brewed and enjoyed.
